Has anyone experienced severe itching.? This is an itch that cannot be scratch because it is below the skin.

Yesterday it started off a pretty good day until the itching started. I was helping my husband and all of a sudden I had a terrible itch on the bottom of my foot. I thought it was from dry skin so I soaked my feet hoping this helped but, the heat made it worse. The itch then started in other places on my legs. I took a neurotin and put ice packs on the areas that were itching and it did help.

Am I crazy or has anyone else experienced this? If so what helped with you.

Right on I itch terribly, I feel like a monkey...serious my head is the worse. Not sure why..

Last yr I asked my nuero about the itch.
He said it is just another type of pain.
I have whole body itch my back is the worst.
Even though you can not touch the itch I use a medicated cream
urea 10% cream Uremol
I use it on my whole body once a day & my back 2-3/day
taking benadryl also helps.
they call it nerve itch

After my first attack my right breast itched intensly and constantly! There was nothing there( dry skin, rash) nothing and it was a deep under the skin itch. It was so embarassing and I was convinced it must be cancer. It eventually stopped ... I get similiar itches on the bottom of my feet.

Hi

Yeap!! It doesn't discriminate, I get it anywhere. My latest was on my wrist, it lasted maybe thirty minutes but I scratched myself raw. Everyone keeps asking what happened,,I just replied very serious,,well I try to commit suicide, but it didn't work out,,and then LOL. They know me, so they forgive me.

Usually I rub ice, it works most times, sometimes I'm to tired to get up.

Hope some of the remedies help you.

I get mine on my stomach and thumbs....I know strange place the thumbs but it happens. i also get the itching of the head too and I shower everyday so it makes me insane that my head itches. Then I also have itchy ears. I have even had my teeth itch.

Hey yeah, my head....drives me nuts, worse at night for some reason

I get it on my back and my head. I hate it on my head. People may think I do not wash my hair. lol. I wash it every day. I can never reach the spot on my back. .

When I started Rebif my back would always itch. But since my body has gotten adjusted to Rebif, no more itching.
