I just started having signs of optic neurtis. I have been taking Rebif for a month and a half. I thought this was supposed to slow the progression. I don't have any other symptoms and have my next neuro. appt. Jan 22. Can I wait? It is a bit painful but I can live through til then. What should I do???

Call your Nueroligst immediately. Solumedrol can help to reduce the attack. I lost vision permanently in my right eye from Optic Nueritis. You should get on the IV Solumedrol ASAP. Don't Wait.

I agree, call your neuro!!!

Yes I agree see Neuro as quickly as you can. One thing people need to realize is that Rebif takes up to a year before it actually starts working for you.

My neuro told me to call if any new symptoms worsen or appear and last 24 hours.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
