Very proud of you Alma. now you will have x money.
Diane, I was reading on that group and there,, I got up, said, I quit, threw them out and ran to the store to buy candy. Today I noticed my tremors are almost gone. If I made a fist my arm would go anywhere shaking, now it's not doing that.

I hope it inspires others to quit. It will make everything better. Take it a day at a time. Best of luck in staying quit. I am an ex-smoker of almost 17 years and am so so glad. You will always be proud of quitting and it will help your health in every way.
there is the origin of going cold turkey.
Thanks, I did, but I had been reducing and was down to five to six a day,, much better than stopping from twenty. But my daughter bought me an blu ecig in case of emergency. I puffed some, but not crazy about it.
The support group here on ds for quitting is great.

Amazing the things that support accomplishes. Last night I went to the pharmacy to get some stuff and there is one of the places I used to buy cigarettes. While paying I looked at them and thought mmmm just to smoke one,, but that was immediately followed by all this words, all the formers smokers words, the ones that have joined me in this journey, the ones that still think about it.
What a moment,,, I didn't buy them, I didn't suffer.
Thank you all for being there last night.
