My other suggestion is natural yoghurt.
It was hard (since yeast is used in many things like white wine!!) but it worked, and I have been free from this problem for many many years.
i don't want to take the newer ms drugs until a safety profile has been very very well-developed, if I was 40, i might try it but I'm too young to mess with that kind of stuff because of the potential side effects. From what I've heard, the oral drugs are the same, or a little better than the older options; I'm not that impressed and neither is my neurologist, it's just another option and the old ones shouldn't be discounted. I don't mind needles at all, like even when I was little, I didn't cry for shots so injections aren't even a factor in deciding which therapy to choose since thankfully giving myself a shot just doesn't bother me, of course it's not fun but when is taking medicine ever fun lol
I know for sure that I have a systemic candida infection after much research. I'm not even going to bother running it by western-medicine doctors unless I feel I must, as I've read it's not very welcomed in their world.
I have read that systemic candida infections are often the underlying culprit that triggers MS, as well as lupus, autism, etc etc. the list goes on.
I suggest researching anti-candida and "leaky gut" diets. They make a lot of sense to me.
This summer I drank large amounts of raw apple cider vinegar and vomited so hard and for so long, I was reciting "Now I lay me down to sleep--" with my head on the toilet.
The naturopath realm call thus a healing crisis, which is scary to trust, but I do believe they're right.
Please research Leaky Gut as well as how Candida acts.
When there is a candida overgrowth, the yeast spores each develop a root, which penetrate the lining of your guts and allow food particles and spores into your blood stream. No wonder allergies develop! That nonsense is NOT supposed to be in your blood.. Brain, etc.
I only 1/3 trust the intention of the pharmaceutical society in the US -- I think it's fueled by greed and that energy doesn't heal people.
To hear them say "we don't understand why the body attacks the myelin sheath" sounds like a load of bull coming from a multi-billion (more probably) industry.
I have an idea. If our stressed out lifestyle, coffee, Advil, and crsp diet allows candida overgrowth and leaky gut, the spores latch themselves in wherever they can. Including the myelin sheath. If I was an immune system, I'd attack it too.
They just don't want us to treat it naturally, since you can't patent things like ACV and garlic. No money, no interest.
Do take your probiotics though!
And try kimchi -- it makes my insides feel alive again.
Much love, and feel better!
