I was diagnosed with RRMS in 2005 (at the age of 39) with an episode of optic neuritis and an abnormal MRI (I think there were four lesions). I opted for treatment and over the next couple of years I was on either Avonex, Copanxone and Rebif. I had no other symptoms until one day in January of 2009 I had difficulty walking distances....which rapidly turned into difficulty walking period....at which point my DR took me off all CRABS and changed my diagnosis to SPMS. And today, my mobility continues to decline. I can't help but think that this is a very accelerated course for the disease - especially since my presenting symptom was sensory. I know everyone is different......but.....I know people who were diagnosed, refused treatment and 20 years later are completely mobile! Anyone else have a similar course to mine?

If I am understanding this correctly, you have a great thing for MS patients, well, you do not have MS, so we would be the judge of that, and you aren't going to tell us until, well, I don't know, until you have enough people on your tweet list? What are you waiting for?

Remember, we are desperate for help, but we are not stupid...and some of our senses may be a little out of whack, but the truth-o-meter is not MS sensitive. In fact, it has made it a whole lot stronger.
