Still, I think you are stressing over this which makes it seem worse than it is. If you've had cognitive tests and done well you are probably just fine and having a few forgetful moments.
As we age or if we find ourselves experiencing a scary illness then we tend to think everything that occurs is a worsening of our symptoms. It may sometimes be a symptom, but often it is just a moment of forgetfulness.
I find that it helps if I make lists, add to them as the day progresses and also try to recall where I put things. We sometimes just drop our keys thoughtlessly or leave things laying about; then wonder where they are :-)
Anyway, hang in there and most of all know you are not alone. I have to make sure I don't just get out of my car and go into the mall or a store without making a mental note where I parked.
It's kind of like retraining yourself to do things better.
