Hi Welcome. I almost missed this thread, thinking it was one I already read. Then I saw your response to 'still refusing meds after 21 years" and I thought to send a message to you as you identified yourself further along with MS & past that dreaded 50 number...I'm 46 with MS about 24 years...to tell you the truth I envision my MS future much as you describe, so I'm interested in how things evolved for you. I describe life as swimming upstream, just a little more difficult than if I was going downstream in life....nothing dramatic with MS, just more difficult than if it was downstream. weakness and fatigue issue that wouldn't be around without MS. I hope you post a lot.

Welcome! I'm still one of the newbies here as far as diagnosis. I was just diagnosed in February. Although I've been struggling with symptoms for years and am now being hit with relapses every couple of months or so. My neuro wants to get me on Tysabri asap to try and slow down progression.

Anyway, I look forward to getting acquainted and learning from your experience.
