We were talking about "trolls" recently. I have had an unusual number of complete strangers from other groups contacting me in last month or so. I would NOT use the world 'troll' as these seem genuinely nice folks. But there is a theme, Christian Minister, Alternative healer, couple probably lonely or well meaning folks.

This is new for me. Anyone else having a sudden increase in contacts from other DS groups?

I'm just wondering why they are looking at our group which is how I assume they found me?

Maybe the word's getting out we are a great group of people??

My guess is that they look at the postings on the board and find us that way. Some, are trolls, and some others are just very nice, kind, people. I have several friends that don't have MS, but I'm so glad they found me because their friendship has been wonderful, and so supportive. I've learned new things about conditions I didn't even know existed, and they've learned new things about MS. You just have to be careful and not give out personal information.

Hi, once someone came here and posted something about mj for medicinal purposes or something like that, so I went to see his profile and recent posting,,and in his group they said to go out and recruit smokers for their group. It was a campaign. So use your best judgement and never give personal info.

I warned y'all.... LOL.. they're on the prawl...LOL... I just get weirdos in general... and those who want me to go to their site and look at something... or say they have a secret to tell me... ummm, NO !

I also think that word gets out what a great group of folks are here. I've been on some other groups at DS, and the people are totally rude to each other. I always thank God that nobody on this site acts like they do.

There are some weirdos out there but there are a lot of nice people also. We do have a good group.There are other good groups too. I have received support from other groups also. I have became friends with some of this people in the other groups and they are wonderful. I have learned about their conditions and they have learned about mine. But our MS group will always be home to me. You will have to use your judgement on each situation.

Melanie: I've gotten a lot of 'hugs' from complete strangers the past couple of weeks. All with the same themes you mentioned. I just deleted one not 2 mins ago.

LOL!! HA!! thats why i use my doggie- on profile picture!! but- i still get them!! always check if they ok or not-be4 you add them as friend- u can always ignore them- but might as well put picture up!! hugs!!!!!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
