I was wondering how many of you were considerd disabled before you were diagnosed with MS? I was considerd disabled because of my back, hip and mental issues {disorganized schzo}
After getting the MS news I felt felt like it was the ultimate slap in the face, I do beleive in God, just for the simple fact that when I am in so much pain suicide comes to mind again but when I pray and ask God to share not take away the pain it is almost instant.
I want to know how many of you actually had something wrong with you besides MS or do you feel like that was theown in as a bonus. Please let me know if this should be posted somewhere else.
I've read post where people are happy to get a H/C placard or plate, Is this just wrong happy to get a plate so you don't have to walk so far? I would love to walk from afar how about you?
Do you feel like this is a test from God or it is preparing you for a greater role in life? a leader? comforter? or do you feel that you did wrong in life and are being punished.
One last thing is I because of my childhood have tried to take my life many times and had gotten away from that untill I got divorced in 92 and than the urges came back and I started all over. Got over that than became disabled because of back and hip and pain drove me to trying all over again.
With invega I got that under control but now I have this MS. I feel like my life is finally ruined and now I know what has failed me and now I know what to do to finally do to end my life. I have a marriage that sucks a wife I don't want to even go into. but kids I love and want to be here for.Is MS the nail in the coffin? it is like no matter what happens to someone I seem to get it ten
fold.
Sorry I got off the main subject but if you can help please give me some
ideas that will help and not the ones to off myself cause I probally have tried it.
I dream of leaving this place peacefully, and yes I have been state commited for those kiind of ways. Sorry to have bored you but I needed to vent

I took the long journey for disability also 28 months start to finish and finish it did to my credit almost lost my house you know all the things by now. I was just wondering if you have wrote to your state senator, you may think it is a waste of time but I wrote to mine and she sent a letter to Social Security for me, she sent me a copy and so did Social Security along with where they were at and what they were doing. All of the sudden my hearing date was moved way up. Can't hurt to do that
