As for the Betaseron or other DMD's they are to slow progression, not to totally stop relapses.
Give it a little more time.

I know how you feel, only it was the left side of my face. I was on solumedrol IV for 5 days on and off and it took me 1 and a half weeks for the numbness to subside. Before the IV I had been completly numb in the left side of my face for almost 2 months. I think the IV works, it just doesn't happen over night. My tongue is still a little numb, but I can feel my gums again and I can swollow and talk a lot easier. Hang in there, it will get better.
