I've noticed something over the past few weeks. My right hand, although it works fine and I can feel it/move it, does not sense heat. I tested the water in my kid's bath with my right hand and it felt tepid, cold even. I stuck my left hand in and it was plenty warm. So I've been testing it with other things and sure enough, it doesn't really sense heat. In fact, it's almost like hot stuff feels cold. Anyone else have weird issues like that? Obviously it's just another oddity to live with but it kinda freaked me out! ;)

Jessica, once again we have the same symptom! Mine is on my head though. I have the weirdest thing when I'm in the shower. I will be washing my hair and I can tell the water is hot on my hands, but it feels cold on my scalp. It's a very strange feeling.

We do get the weirdest sensations don't we?My "favourite" is the liquid trickling down my leg thing that makes me think I've peed my pants..of course I have not....well sometimes I do but not when it fells like Idid. arrrg

I have burnt my fingers on the stove so many times I've lost count. The thing is I don't feel it, just hear the sizzle & see the blister. I also have to be careful in the shower, water doesn't feel hot but by time I get out I'm beet red.

Like Isaboo, I get the feeling of water running down my leg. I also get the feeling of being spayed with a water bottle, drives me up the wall. I know it's not real but I catch myself looking every time.
Gotta love this disease.

I have to be careful when I take a bath- my feet and toes have been ice cold for years and I cannot feel the hot water-my OT sd to be careful as I can scald my feet if water too hot cause I cannot feel the temp. Ellen
