Yeah, it would be nice if they would focus more on myelin replacement. . . it looks like if it works out it would help future cases at least!

This is GREAT news!!! Thanks for sharing this with us. Apparently this study has been going on since 2008 and is VERY promising. Its being studied at UCSF, a former employer of mine and you know what, I'm going to try to get an appt. at UCSF so see a DOCTOR that might just know what they are doing for a change!

I have not been near a neurologist since the year 2000 as I have been so very disgusted with the treatment I have received that it turned into a WE DON'T GO THERE ANYMORE for me the day I almost drove into the sea on my way home crying and desperate after listening to their hopeless spew. I swore I'd never go back because I really did not care to commit suicide because of a bunch of idiot doctors that seem to not even know how to read much less write! To hell with you I said and give me a call when you find out what MS is and when you have a viable treatment for it.

I await this call still and I will perhaps go to UCSF and see if I can be treated there. I am ready! Yes I am!

I never thought I'd be posting this as I'd about given up being all I've heard since the day I was DX'd some 18 years ago is beta seron beta seron beta seron and IV streroids IV steroids IV steroids .... I never bit. Nope.
