sorry, this is quite possibly the most useless post EVER, but i'm excited because i leave for my honeymoon in three days.

HAWAII and SUNSHINE, here i come!!

Oh...and you'll see whales. This is the time of year that whales are right off the beach. It's sooooo cool.

and no chaperone! what kind of fun could i have with a chaperone around? unless they wanted to join in. :)

feisty, we are on maui and oahu for one week each. and we were planning on doing some sort of whale watching, but maybe we can just see them from the beach! i'm excited to see turtles too!

Maui is where I grew up, West Maui. This time of year you can sit on the beach and see whales breaching just about 2o yards off the shore. Where I lived, our view was of Lanai and Molokai so we had the channel between. Lots of whales.

As far as turtles go, get up early, sit out on the beach, and you will see them swim by. First you will just see a funny head pop up from time to time. It's so cute. Have your snorkling gear ready, they are truly magnificent. But watch for those heads.
