I've been hearing about this one and thinking I probably won't take this one either. If the doctor can convince me that I wouldn't be bothered by the side effects, it might be a consideration. I'm just afraid of anything that compromises the immune system.

Yeah, it makes me a bit nervous, but as I am PPMS, this it the first time they have come up with something.

I've also been PPMS for quite a while. I just read an article that mentioned exercising was better than all of the so-called MS treatments. With that in mind, I keep trying to get back in the exercise mode. I'll see if I can find articles on exercise.

(SPMS, right?) I wish I didn't give up yoga for the gym over 2 years ago. I didn't have time to do both & I miss the stretching. In the last week or two the incontinence is more frequent. . .I am feeling pretty down.

I've starting doing kegels along with my exercises and they seem to help. I made it through church without a problem and a few other things too. I have a walker and a wheelchair and my goal is to stay upright and not use them. It is helpful when I have to have them though. Insurance covered both of these items for me. My neuro prescribed them as I needed them.

Hehehe... As much as I disliked my classes in statistics, they definitely were helpful. Although, these things are still difficult to understand either way! ☺

It's been approved in Europe! So, next month I'll check with my neuro when I see him. (I think it's the drug in the trial I was offered in 2010/2011. I declined bec it scared me, besides I was less advanced.) I hope I'm eligible still.
