I think one thing which is important to remember is that although much of what he offers is his opinion based on research and to a degree fact, it is still an opinion and not an absolute. I don't agree with everything he says, ie, antioxidants aren't an essential part of the supplementary plan, in fact I think he goes so far as to poo poo it. Well oxidative stress is very much a part of MS, so how or why antioxidants arent advisable is beyond me.
Still, it is a good book to read to get vital information on the appropriate nutrition, facts about MS in general and all from a medical practitioner who himself has MS (as did his mother).
