hey guys,

ok, how many of you go to the st. mike's MS clinic in Toronto?

if you do, have you found that they have screwed you out for your appts? i called today to confirm an appt. i made 6 months ago and they told me they didn't have one for me. now i'm told i have to wait until MAY.

this is the second time this has happened and i'm getting insanely frustrated.

any of you experience this?

i know that goose used to use st. mikes in toronto..he never had an issue with them though..and used them for years hon...perhaps a new receptionist???....

where are you located by the way??...smile...there is also a clinic in london..just 2 hours south of toronto...and one in ottawa....and if im not mistaken...one in between that area...i would have to look it up though....

i have just switched from the one in london and am going to be starting with the one in ottawa..it was pretty much up to me as i moved to north bay and everywhere is aprox. 4 hours away at least...so i could have stayed with london or go somewhere else...i did not chose st. mikes simply becuase i dont like the traffic in t.o....grin....nothing against the clinic...lol...

I use the one in Ottawa. No complaints so far. Other than getting an answering machine most times when i call.

hey adam..which neuro do you see there if i may ask???...i know im signed up to see a lady neuro...for the life of me i cant remember her name though....grin....

and are you happy with the ms clinic in ottawa???...are they aggressive in their treatments at all??....

i live right in toronto, so the convenience is too good to pass up. 30 minutes by subway.

they had me some kind of livid yesterday though.

I started with Dr. Ghanem who saw me and passed my file over to Dr Skinner because he was ex military. Dr Skinner then passed me off to Dr Rush(woman) who then passed me to Dr Friedman who is my current neuro.Since I have never had a symptom, all they agreed on is that its never too early to start treatment so they let me chose which crab drug I wanted and I chose copaxone because it had the least side effects. I just had an MRI of head and spine a few weeks ago to see what effects copaxone are having after six months.
