I posted the topic "you have to read this story!!". It's about a man who had meylin damage in his brain and was administered fish oil to help with the damage. I became very interested in fish oil and omega3 and want to get some. My mother is a nurse and I called to ask her what vitamins are good to take that contain omega3. She said prenatal vitamins! I never would have guessed. YOu can take prenatal vitamins even if you are not pregnant. It will help you in all kinds of ways. I am going to start taking them. I thought that this would be helpful to know.

I tried fish oil/omega 3 in huge doses, but I am not sure it worked. Let us know what you find. I also take prescription vitamins, but I should check with my dr. and see if prenatal vitamins are better.

I was also told by my doctor to take omega/3 and fish oil due to its affects on memory. I don't know if it helps, but I do take it at night before I go to bed because, they make me, for lack of a better term, fart fish smell!

You are not going to believe this, but I didn't realize at first that the reason you take the fish oil at night is that you do not wnat to fart fish smell during the day. I thought you meant that you like when your farts smell like fish. How's that for cognitive impairment? Oh, and I am asking my dr. tomorrow about the prenatal vitamins.
