also, vitamin D is linked to MS and since you are not getting as much sun as the season change, that might add to you feeling worse? Possibly you're experiencing seasonal depression to some degree which is making your symptoms seem worse?
I have also found that, for me, it has been a big adjustment in that so many things I did revolved around work..I planned the holiday events, went shopping for and put up decorations, gave out holiday meals. It has been a quite different beginning to the season.
I am learning to accept the various things that MS throws at me, and to take them in stride that way I used to. Sometimes I set a definite goal for a day and no matter what, I meet it. I think that not having to do things can get us to a point where we feel more like MS has us. I often feel so tired after one of my designated says, and for that reason, require myself to do soemthing again the next day. That way I have gotten back to the "I can do this" attitude, and can rest upif I need to.
Just a thought, hope it helps.
Also if you aren't working you are probably not getting outside as much and that can adversely impact your vitamin D levels. You may ask your doc about checking the levels in your blood. Not enough vitamin D can make you feel yucky.
