Lately, i've felt so detached from myself, like I'm walking around in a fog. My movements are slower, my speech is slower, I feel like something is about to happen and don't know what to do about it. I get feelings of fear, like I should go to the hospital. It's been going on for about 2 weeks. Anyone else feel like this sometimes?

I have been feeling this way for a while also. I have called it feeling numb. I'm just numb. Makes me worry about my mental state..but hey..a couple people here have made me feel better and not a total freak!

Your feet aren't the only thing losing its balance. I believe in feeling the feelings and slowly but surely the good ones dominate.

I have had some similiar issues. I actually was also being very paranoid all ended up being medication I was taking. Might want to review meds and there effects to see if this is something affecting you. I hope it is as easy as that.

Sherie those feelings that you are talking about can also be associoated with the complex seziures... especially if you are having them in your sleep and do not know it... you may be having auar's during the day hence the feeling of fear etc..

It sounds like depersonalization to me. I experience "detached" feelings throughout the day. its caused by intense anxiety. Its not a fun feeling. Its scarey but it can't hurt you.

I've experienced this many times too. If it continues another day or more you may want to call your dr. It may be as a result of seizures or an exacerbation coming on. Good luck...feel better.

Thank you all so much. You have been my comfort through so much of what is going on! I do have nightmares of siezures and getting lost and not knowing where I am! It is so real that I truly think I am awake, but I tell myself I am dreaming.I haven't been dx'd with MS yet, but I do have a spinal tap being schedualed for me and a complete MS panel. So maybe it is just anxiety. I do have complex partial epilepsy and maybe it is siezure activity. . .sorry about the ramble, just trying to whiegh all the options! LoL!! Thanx again everyone.
