Here is a definition I found online:
Spasticity: A state of increased tone of a muscle (and an increase in the deep tendon reflexes). For example, with spasticity of the legs (spastic paraplegia) there is an increase in tone of the leg muscles so they feel tight and rigid and the knee jerk reflex is exaggerated.
A number of people on this site have mentioned taking a drug called Baclofen for spasticity. Maybe you could talk to your doctor and explain that the ibuprofen isn't helping and ask for a medication that is specifically used to treat spasticity.
I have PPMS to are you taking meds or did your neuro tell you not to take them.
Here's a link for a good, plain English definition and symptoms of spasticity.
