I thought it would be nice for us all to share about a known person who has/had MS. A woman I greatly admire was one of the greatest cellists of the 20th century: Jacqueline du Pre. There is a film loosely based on her life 'Hilary & Jackie' (which I watched many a time pre-diagnosis, I am not sure if I could watch it again just because it hits too close to home, but it is really good). Wow so many to choose from. Chrissy Amphlett is a definite. One of the greatest rockstars Australia has ever produced. Richard Pryor was absolutely hilarious. Meredith Viera's husband (sorry couldn't resist) - his book was inspirational.

Jacqueline du Pre has always inspired me, even before I was diagnosed with MS. Tragic life and amazing musician. Elgar's Cello Concerto became like my anthem.

Always liked Richard Pryor as a person and a comedian. Plus Jack Osborne, who has been promoting MS awareness here in UK.

And I admire J K Rowling who has given a great deal of money - 10 million+ and support to MS, as her mother suffered from the disease.
