They're still in experimental stages of figuring all of this out with mice but it was exciting to hear about anyway. I thought I'd post it here for anyone else who likes to read these articles. :-)

Very ineresting. My neurologist said there were differing schools ogf thought on how damage occurs, whether it's outside-in, the current theory, or inside-out, axon damage comes first. Thanks for finding and posting this.

The statement

"...In the lab mice, they were able to neutralize ROS and RNS and rescue axons that had already started degenerating...."

Even the referenced abstract didn't say HOW they're "neutralizing" the ROS & RNS. Can we assume they're using anti-oxidants on the ROS?
