I have an appointment with my new neuro next month, but seeing as I'm getting older (will be 49 the day before the appointment) I'm seriously thinking about skipping the ongoing medication and just dealing with the exhaustion as needed. The flares I've had over the years have not really been a serious problem until the double vision, so if they stay the same as always, I'll skip the daily shots.
As far as laughter goes, it is the very best medicine. Seriously, I think it's the only thing that gets me through a typical day.
welcome to the group :(
Personally, my hubby did much better with low gluten diet and certain supplements ie Life Extension multivitamin and mineral capsule(has plenty of B vitamins and D3), Co Enzyme Q10, Alpha Lipotic Acid (R-ALA) + essential fatty acids: CLA, Primerose oil(aka GLA and is an Omega6), Fatty acids ie Palmitic acid.
So much better he is no longer relapsing every 3 months like he was on Rebif alone. Since the changes he has not relapsed in 4 1/2 years ( :
Best wishes to you,
