Thanks for this information. It will help me decide which medicine to try first. Cost has been a major factor for me.

Copaxone was going to lose their patent but they could not find evidence of how it works so NO generic can be made for it. Therefore the patent remains intact and will do so for quite sometime I presume. Coming from the science community there will be NO WAY I would take any biologic made by a generic manufacturer anyway. Most generics are not the real deal and many are the same thing made by the same company just sold under generic label and that is fine but what works as label oftentimes does not work as generic as they are not held to the quality control that Big Pharma is held to. YES Big Pharma is the devil but remember when dealing with biologics it is the devil you know. If you are having a problem paying for Copaxone call Shared Solutions as they already pick up copays of up to 100/mth and they also have a very liberal patient assistance program for those who are self pay. Trust me you do NOT want to take any biologic made by anyone other than those who discovered it and manufactured it initially.
