'i remember in my early days' that was happening. You may be left-handed or right-brained. Seriously. I use mugs, never cups. Holding a knife - i don't do knives. Steps - i don't do steps. My previous flat had steps. I degraded / weakened; i moved.
Eloise, for an MSr, you sound normal.

It's me, SharonMom. I read your post and NO you are NOT a klutz. The dropping things is a symptom of M.S. I have had this disease for 2 1/2 years, and I drop things all the time. I had to replace all my drinking glasses in the kitchen with plastic glasses, so when I drop them at least I will not break glass, and I am in the process of replacing my pan lids with all metal lids because I was innocently moving a lid from my stove to the sink last month in order to wash the lid when I dropped it and it shattered into hundreds of pieces all over the kitchen floor.
Thankfully when we bought our house 2 years ago, we knew that I had M.S. so the house is all on one level and there is a walk-in shower. I, too, am uneasy around stairs. Maybe if you have a 2-story house you can sell it and buy a one story? Good luck.
I also have that feeling coming down stairs, feels like my legs are going to give out at any moment. It's so nice to be able to talk with everyone here. It's hard to explain to someone who doesn't have this stupid disease.
Its so good toknow I am not the only klutzy girl lol!
