the other issues are unrelated to ms, but some people do believe having good gut bacteria can alleviate ms problems, i took probiotics for awhile but just kinda stopped
Do you take Nortriptolyne(sp?) The reason I ask is I have occasionally have stomach issues after I take this.

My grandmother and my aunt have/had irritable bowel syndrome. That had to be careful with what they eat. When I take a lot of antibiotics for UTI, I get IBS. But 99% of the time, I don't get digestive problems. But I do have to take a probiotics when I am on antibiotics.
I would think that MS has screwed up your digestive system up as well, but it may be that is what you have a tendency to have like it other people may have other things. Can you change your diet to help the way you feel? That is what my aunt does (she is still living at 90 and she has to change her diet and see what affects her). She has her good days and her bad days. She has to be careful what she eats. As for myself, I can eat hot food, spicy food, etc. and it usually doesn't affect me. But I do feel crummy when I eat sugar and fast food so I have to avoid that.
Have you tried doing a food diary? Start from the beginning and see what works and what doesn't. Best of luck to you.
