Hi Kelly, Im also on Betaseron and I have no problems. I had to get usr to it and take a couple of advil right befor I took my shot for a few months but now it's been almost a year and It dosnt bother me at all. I also get help from nord and they have been great..

thanks for the reply this morning when i s/w the people at beta they didnt seem as friendly as the people at copx, but i guess it doesnt really matter

Hi...curious, why did your neuro say the copax isn't working? Do you have more symptoms/lesions? I just finished my first month of copax, and i am tolerating it really well, and am impressed with the support i get from shared solutions...

I've been taking Betaseron since March 31, 2007. I didn't have reactions at all till I got to full dose April 25th. Then I got redness and swelling marks from injections even though I was rotaing. I was introduced to the flu-like sx you probally heard about. It wasn't that bad. took my injectons in the morning and I knew if I was going to get them by lunch. I took extra advil and went to bed. I experined chills like you get when you have a fever. It only happened a few times but I was taking so many naps and tired.

At the end of July, I change to taking them at night. I woke up soaked a few times , like 3 times, and after a month I had no problems since and been sleeping all night. I still get the red marks but I expirmented with body parts and hydrocorizone and that helped.

I had a mri in July and it found no new lesions. I guess it's working. I know problems I had before are gone but I have new ones too. Who know could be injections, could be my ms.

I was reciving help directly from Beta not Nord. Nord always gave me a hard time. Beta didn't and that once reason I was glad I choose Beta. I would talk to them directly about assistance.
The other thing I learned about Beta later is they
provide alot of funds, research and support for MS. They are owned by Bayer.
