Someone recently posted web addresses for 3 or 4 companies that sell cooling stuff. I shopped around all the sites and ordered from polar products. I got a vest, hat, wrist bands, and bandana; it all comes in a kit for a unit price or you can order seperately. I have not used the vest just yet, but will next week and will be glad to give a detailed report here. We leave early tomorrow morning but I wil check in here while I am away.... Steve

Ok, sorry! The vest has pockets that you put the gel ice packs in them. They go in the front and back. Then you put it in and attach the velcro straps and that's it. The vests are rather bulky no matter what kind you get, unless they have come up with better than what they had a year ago. Hey, it's FREE, I won't complain. I have gotten great use out of ALL the items I got. The application process was easy...

I got other items as well (if you visit site, you will see some of the items) When you actually get sent the application, they put in a couple of pages (not in color) of items you can choose to go in your kit. You'll see if you visit :) If you would like to know about any paticular item, feel free to ask, as I may have them.

I had the same experience as jca. Got my vest along with wrist bands, neckwrap, chair paid and pillow case with soft ice pack. Everything came with extra ice packs and I received mine in about a week as well.
