I am guilty of excessive online shopping. I do buy things that I use, OTC meds mostly but I also buy ebay items, Etsy and variety of clothes from various websites. I have noticed I do it more when I'm in a low or depressed state or when I'm in alot of pain., which is chronic with me in my legs. I recently went through a rough patch being sick with different things lasting 6 weeks and boy did I shop. I do feel I have a problem with it, I've ran up credit cards that I never dreamed I would end up doing. Anybody else have this problem??

Are you able to go out and get around at all and try a support group? Of course, perhaps there is a group within DS here for over spenders. I guess it is a way to cope with MS. I have my own addictions which is sweets and video gaming. Anything to escape. I am also addicted to Netflix and use it everyday and unfortunately, I do not get as much as I need to get done.
Best of luck with this. Perhaps you can find another habit that doesn't cost anything.
