I have seen dietician & also continence physio & nurse & urology physician & all have told me to try to cut out the caffeine or at least decrease it. None of them have said that caffeine is good for you & all have said the opposite. I am still having my cup of tea with breakfast & tea but having decaf coffee instead of coffee during the day & I drink herbal tea at work anyway.
Since I switched to herbal tea at work & started decreasing the amount I was having - last year, I have not had a uti which is great as i was getting a lot of them.
When I was drinking coffee more (I still have my cappuchinos) I still had relapses. Think it is more to do with relaxing maybe?
If it helps you great I just wanted to relay the effects for my husband.
Best Wishes,

Actually, I tried really reducing before I started taking Provingil a while back, wanted to see how that drug would work. I did not like ti at all. It made me feel nervous and jittery, even with a reduced amount. Without caffeine, I am just exhausted, and that is no good. So I am just trying to drink less, and find good foods to help promote energy as well.
But thanks for the gentle way you put the suggestion!
It does make me curious tho as many with MS say coffee gives them a boost. I wonder if maybe there is a adrenal gland fatigue component to the disease. Has anyone gotten their adrenal hormones checked? If so what was your score on your state's normal range?
Are you in the bottom 10-15% of the population?
Best wishes to all in reducing symptoms..how ever you do it.

However, tea by the pint is probably not something I should be drinking 3-4 times a day. Perhaps that's why I don't crave coffee much?? ;o)
I did go looking for my herbal teas earlier though and will be taking them to work tomorrow to ring the changes.
