Any stress can give him a heart attack.
Would it be the same if he got the correct numbers to the Texas Lottery?
It is simply impossible to avoid stress but there are effective ways to deal with it.
So Sorry you had to go through that, I know what you mean about stress, I had a heart attack when I was 35 that did damage, I've had 2 smaller ones since and it all happend with the last 2 when stress was high. I'm just happy they are not making you do a heart cath, I've had 6 of them done but thanks to new technology they have better tests and don't do that invasive procedure so much anymore. I'm sure Bruce will get his stress down now that he knows your ok.
Dave
My hubby is in end stage congestive heart failure. His heart is over worked he has fulid on his leg/belly/chest. In one way his heart is working too hard in another way it is not working good enough.
We have been told he has months to live if he can bring his stress levels down he may live longer but if they can not get the fluid off he does not have long to live at all. So yes any stress good or bad is enough for him to die
It might be something to think about not sharing so much of your health issues with him to help keep his stress levels down? Although I can imagine how difficult that would be, to withhold important information like that from your honey, but the alternative can be damaging to him. Just a thought...
I'm glad you are "home" and resting well. Do you think all the steroids you have been having lately has played a part in all of this? I pray that the tests all come back negative (angiogram) and that your heart can heal itself and grow stronger. I will be thinking of you, so keep us posted on how you are feeling okay?
I would have kept this from Bruce until I knew what was going on.
But they have a policy here. The nurses here have to phone your contact person or next of kin when you go to the main hospital. Or even if you get the flu or anything else that could go on.
Family members know what goes on when it goes on. I have in the past ask them not to call Bruce but the nurses told me they have to. I do ask them to word it carefully like just to be safe we want a doc to look at her and so on. So if I had a choice I would
I hope the Docs get this all figured out so it doesn't happen again.
Give Bruce my love and let him know I am thinking and praying for you both.
Gentle hugs and joined at the heart, Linda
