And the throat is still killing me. Feels like someone is stabbing me in the right side of my throat when I swallow, breath, cough and sometimes even just when I talk. :(

Honey i am so sorry...
the closest i have come is the MS hug heart attack symptoms..
and it is scary .. pressure, hot/cold flashes, trembling, hard to breath, weak, yeah been to ER twice with IT ...
and a nerve thing at neck that makes it feel like my wind pipe is shutting down..
scary stuff!
and as much as we do not want something to be wrong
we want to know what is causing this!!
i have no answers i just wanted to support you

Thanks JLRoss. I called my neurologist today and he doesn't think it's neurological. I actually think he's wrong. I'm getting the run around again. I have an appointment with a GI doc next week. My husband yelled at me for going to the ER and told me it wasn't an emergency. Sigh. I saw you tagged my post in the other anxiety post. It's so true that this disease can make you feel crazy. I too have anxiety and I plan to respond to the other poster.

yelled at you ... only here can i say this and know it will be understood... right now in the stage of MS i am living i do not
"look" like anything is wrong... my own sister was the first to
use one of my fears against me "she uses MS to get her way
and for attention" it broke my heart...

you should never be yelled at ... fear is reason enough to seek
help even when the "professionals" cant find the why of it ..
in normal range is "i dont know why"..

I've never had this before but I just wanted to stop in and give you a (((hug))) and tell you I hope you are feeling better soon!

I had the chest thing for me it was nerve pain coming from a nerve cluster in the upper chest
at first it was off & on but after awhile it was all of the time I went to a pain doc & he used freezing & injected it right into the the cluster the freezing it's self wares in a few hrs but it took the pain away for about 5 weeks.

another thing that comes to mind is GI problems

part of this is spasms in the esophagus.
They are very painful.
Now I also get angina & I can not tell them apart except the spasm causes me pain when I swallow (more chest pain)
here is the confusing part both are treated with nitro.

My hubby had a sore throat & painful swallowing. They could find nothing wrong. When he lost his voice they sent him to an ENT doc. He did a scope right there in the office his voice box was burnt.
the dxed him with GERD now he never had heart burn at all

We were both treated with the drugs to control acid & are fine now.

Any chest pain needs to seen to immediately. It was good that you went to the ER. I am glad that your EKG and other test were normal. That means that your heart is healthy. That is a good sign. Now with all the pain you are having, it has to be a cause. Maybe it is stress or something dealing with your MS. With a low grade fever it has to be something that causing it. You might need to get a second opinion with another doctor. I wish you the best and hope you start to feel better.
