carbamazepine??

Hey...I was just wondering if any one here has been on Carbamazepine? I first started on Neurontin and Baclofen. Had horrible side effect on the Neurontin but stayed on Baclofen. Uped my Baclofen and still is not helping...so now I am tapering off that and they are going to start me on Carbamazepine. Hoping that I will not have any crazy new side effect...

Hello,

I've been on between 1200-1500 mgs of Carbamazepine per day for nearly five years now. A little bit of drowsiness in the beginning, but nothing now.

I take Carbatrol which is a version of Carbamazepine. It made me super tired at first and still makes me tired but not nearly as tired as Neurontin which I also take.
