No you are not crazy! I have a buzzing butt all the time. I reach for my phone often and then notice my phone was not buzzing or either my phone was not there. It is weird but at least you know you are not alone with this.

Sorry to jump in on an old conversation but i am having this too and it's driving me crazy! justinedwardgraham i totally described it as 'bubbling' too!! And it is such a weird thing to tell someone. I was like it's a very subtle buzzing but it's like a bubbling sensation right below the skin. It is not numb and it happens when i stand or sit. Not one or the other. And it's just the left butt cheek right in the middle. Kinda comes and goes minute by minute. It's been a couple years since you guys have been here, but what did you find out? Did it stop? How are you guys doing now? Thanks!!

I just found out that I have a lesion on my brain after they did some testing. Reading about the buzzing I will have to mention that to the doctor. Making me think that I might have MS. Because I have a lot of the other symptoms as well. Will have to ask the doctor when I see him on Tuesday.

And not just hips but throughout left leg.
I feel it's maybe because the brain is struggling to control the leg with the signals from the neurons which were earlier well covered with the myelin.
Though not too sure.
