I have been getting this for about a year. It drives me nut's, I am always pulling my cell phone out of my pocket thinking it's going off.

And Candacesc, that sound like Lhermitts sign. I don't know how to spell it but it's a common MS thing.

I have had the buzzing in more of the girly area. Not as exciting as it sounds though!:0(

You girls have made me laugh today with your comments!! Yeah, I have had some buzzing type feelings in different parts of my body, and I think it is more in my hip/thigh area. I guess guess it is just "nerves gone wild"!!!!!!

I get the buzzing feeling too around my hips and down by butt...happens when I bend my head down and right after I take a shower. The heat causes my butt to tingle and it does feel like buzzing.

Oh, man, I am so glad to read this! I used to keep my phone in my front right pocket on vib at work. I made the company order me a new phone twice because I would feel it vib and thought I was missing calls that weren't showing up. I finally moved it to my back pocket, but my front pocket kept vibing. Since then it has moved around from time to time. And I get the tailbone is connected to the headdown as well.
Well, at least I know that I just have MS and am not crazy. Thanks so much for sharing this.

how strange that so many of us can experience the same stupid annoying symptom... I feel this when I'm walking.. or on the rare occasion that i go out to a concert.. only time i carry my phone in my pocket so as not to miss a call.. but i spend most the night checking my stupid phone that hasn't really been ringing.. it's like the reverse of the butt dial!

Okay so... I know this is an old article but I've been trying to figure this out as well. Only difference is that rather than a "vibration" I feel a bubbling. And I'm a 20 year old guy, most everything I've been finding is with pregnant women. Any thoughts?

I feel as though there were a tuning fork embedded in my entire body, but mostly in the trunk area. This only happens when I wake up in the middle of the night and haven't had enough sleep.

I don't get the "buzzing butt" feeling, but in the front. I wasn't sure what was going on, but after reading everyone's posts, I guess I'm MS normal! :)

keep forgetting - another MS thing, to mention to the dr..
have forgotten for two yrs to mention - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - but it happens in two different places to me - I really thought it was my cell phone sometimes, MOST times - but no cell phone there. thought I was sitting on it - it is on my thigh and on my chest on one side. and it feels the size of the cell phone.

so, I really do need to mention this : ( don't want more tests that lead nowhere, know what I mean????

Lhermitts - I will look that up, swil - I cannot see to type your name correctly with my A mazing 20/20 vision and no issues with the eyes but they don't work - so sorry to be a downer, noT my MO

I called and confessed to my neuro, big sigh - he is already doing more testing next appointment. not for dx, I have that, but to update and working on seizures - what type? stuff like that

I don't know what to think - for me, I do have MS, but I also have the spinal injuries that wiki says can cause these symptoms

maybe? the bubbling you feel is the same as the vibrating some others feel - it is only the interpretation that is different?? hugs, Lilly
