I get that feeling in the tops of my feet. Strange feeling I don't know what to do about this. :(

I actually got this type of feeling in my left arm. I was under family stress so I just coughed it up to that. I didn't do anything for it except try to ignore it & focus on something else.

Praying it goes away.

I used get this frequently in my feet and in my left arm. It was explained to me that it is just another type of nerve reaction similar to pain or numbness. Ice and/or ibuprofen helps me some. Anything that may help inflammation.

I took a shower and thought more about my response and felt i should clarify it a bit. My main symptom with my MS is nerve pain. As such I feel all kinds of nerve pain symptoms from pain, heat, cold, numbness, tingling and the MS hug. When my pains are from MS ibuprofen or ice do nothing. My feet issues are caused, I believe, from spasticity in my calfs and hamstrings, but in my feet the heat or cold sensations are then from inflammation. If your leg symptoms are MS nerve pains and are not the result of spasticity then ibuprofen will likely not help.

For my nerve pain issues I was prescribed (after many other drugs failed) Carbamazepine and Nortriptylene. Worked wonders and do not know what I would have done had they not provided the pain relief I needed.

I do get what you talked about. The neuro. Said it probably is related to spasticity. He gives me Botox in my arm that is affected. Believe it or not it does help. Talk to your neru. About it.

I already take Nortriptylene and can't take Ibuprofen due to gut issues or use ice because of Raynauds. The burning is from the feet all the way to the knees and even up to the buttocks. I'm just one big hunk o' hunk o' burnin' love. LOL

If I eat something cold, the cold/burning starts in my lower legs within minutes. Just bizarre!
