Bowel Dysfunction..sexy??..No not in a freaky way

OMG....I had an incident with this fun little MS symptom....("fun" meaning EMBARASSING AS HELL!) I was down in the.... uh-hem "dumps", UH... "behind" this event....OK, ok no more dump, or behind jokes this is serious! I was feeling a little sensitive about things...so after I showered and dressed...I got to thinking about Bowel dysfunction and MS which made me do some research...Did you know that over 60% of those of us with MS have an isssue with this...this crap?!!? (sorry,, I HAD to say it) There is NOTHING else in the world that makes you feel less attractive as a woman than knowing this is part of your existance. Then, I had the thought.....TAMIA the gorgeous R&B singer has MS! Odds are better than average, that sexy song maven Tamia, has trusted a fart to her chagrin.... Even if she hasn't....it makes me feel better knowing that one day this glamorous, hot, celebrated singer COULD. or so could ....Real Housewives of DC's Michale Salahi...or Country Singer, Clay Walker or Jack Osbourne
(altho an Osbourne male taking a dump publicly might not be that shocking), but NBA Dallas Mavs star Chris Wright....they ALL could have to run home and shower and change real fast! OK, even if my sexy gets lost....I;m STILL funny!

Yes it sucks. Was it Ozzy Osbourne or Frank Zappa who did that on stage? Quite memorable. The only way one can handle this comfortably is with a sense of humor. I'm sure the guys feel quite as bad. I've cut down on eating cabbage!!

We all don't have the problem you're talking about. i am ususally stopped up and have to take a laxative to be regular. I dont have to run home.--but i do have the gas problems from taking lactulose. So perhaps some of them have to run home but not all. Remembr everyone is different.
P.S. it was Frank Zappa--and the story I heard was he got two pieces of bread and picked up and ate it. that may be legend..dont know.LOL!

Exactly not sexy...but I've had more issue like that. No more farting because i will be running to the restroom. I got the IBAs thing handle by learning my body

i was actually proud of myself. i calmly went into a store and calmly asked where the bathroom was, while pooping in my pants, without even cracking a goofy smile.

i usually laugh about things like this, if it happens to me. this was back whhen it happened for the first time.

since then, it has happened in all kinds of embarassing situations. the worse times are during sex. my husband understands though and helps me clean up.

Been there. More than I would like to admit. I went to all sorts of GI doctors and they found nothing. I went to my Johns Hopkins Neurologist, they said there was no connection. Its sooooo frustrating. Then my doctor put me on Cymbalta because she said I was too stressed (well ya THINK!) but to my surprise it has almost cleared up! Just a thought!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
