Has anybody talked to their neurologist about the BG12 pill being a viable treatment plan when it comes out? I have been on Copaxone since April and it's not getting any easier. I think my anxiety with it is actually getting worse. We had talked about switching to Avonex, but the side effects and the monitoring scared me a little bit.... Has anybody switched from Copaxone to Avonex?

I take Betaseron. When Gilenya came out, my neuro didn't like the potential side effects, and since I wasn't having any problems with Betaseron, he didn't change anything.
Last week he told me that BG-12 was coming out this Spring and he wanted to put me on it. So he's done the research and likes it better.

I got a start date of April 24. I hope it is the right thing to do. I'll be leaving Rebif for it. Happy yet a little scared.
