back pain??

i always thought because i am considered over weight or my breast are too big. but my lower back feels like i just got beat around the block by somebody kicking me in my lower back. this is beginning to make me really mad. today will be my 2nd day of solumedrol hope this goes away real soon, but i seem to always feel like this. anyone else?? thanks, kelly

My lower back has been very sore for a couple days now too - not like any pain I've ever had before, and it certainly isn't because I strained it since I'm too tired to do anything.

i take loritab for pain but i dont really care for them as it makes me feel like i can build a house of bricks with my bare hands,but than it wears off and i am worse off than before. naproxen (aleve) seems to help. but the pain never seems to really go away.

Kelly, I have The exact same Pain & It`s Horriable. Have You tried a Heating Pad Or Biofreeze Pain Relieving Roll on or Tiger balm? these often help me. If Not I take Diladid 2 mgs. Good Luck to You. GOD BLESS! Indigo/Cindi

I was dragged in kicking and screaming back in 1989. He told me he THOUGHT I was born with "something like spinda bifida" and always treated me accordingly.

When I was sent for MRIs in 2002, when they did the lumbar, they sent me for a CT scan. Guess what I was DX'd with, 13 years after my chiro gave his opinion? SBO!

And my whole childhood of complaints never got anyone curious, but my chiro saw and felt it on my first visit. The're amazing to me.

Got me out of 10 attacks in 11 years by finding the Trigger, not just trying to Mask the Result.

I believe in my chiro too! HE is the one that thought I had MS. And all these years I thought I had a bad back.
I use baclofen, biofreeze (from chiro), IB, and Move!
Can't explain why but moving help like walking, shopping. It works for me.

i do the chiro too it helps but my nrew ms doc says spasticity of my legs is contributing to the lower back pain

I had this situation for two years, along with neuraligia pain in my leg. Found out last May that I had a ruptured disk. The drs and I had thought all along that it was the MS and treated me with meds for it. When it finally went from just slightly or more than slightly damaged and ruptured in March, I waited unitl May for my appointment. He upped my meds, but I knew within three days that it wasn't working as the pain continued to get worse and I could barely move. I called back and he scheduled an MRI and discovered the rupture.
I don't know if this is what is going on with you, but you might ask your drs if it is possible if the meds they have been prescribing aren't working.
