I get this too...I didn't think it was related to my other symptoms though...I kind of figured it was sinus or something. I hope you get it figured out.

I have had sharp pains in ear & ear aches, usually ends up being either ear infection or sinus problems. I would suggest to go to a dr if you can, otherwise if nose is blocked up then get a nasal spray & use that & see if it helps.
As far as I know ear pain is not common as part of ms but if it continues get it checked out.

If you have allergies or sinus issues I would point to that being the issue. Whenever my sinuses start filling up the same happens to me and usually means if I don't clear up the sinus cavity my ears will get infected. Call your primary care and hope you get better soon :)

I've been getting these for years Brian...& I also have severe sinus/allergy issues. However, I've gone to Doc a number of times over the years...thinking I had a sinus infection bc they would be so bad...but NOPE...didn't have one. So, IDK? I'm thinking at this stage in the game...that it's NERVE PAIN...because I ALSO get severe ITCHING in my inner ears! I'm sure that must be crazy nerves as well...bc I've also started to get this "crazy itching" (feels like tiny bugs crawling around) way up in my nasal cavity...that's sets off an insane sneezing spell!! This can last for hours...INSANE!!! Thankfully...it doesn't happen near as often as the ear problems!

It's (pain & itching) in both ears...but my right ear is the very worst! And...4 yrs ago...I started getting the "vibrating/buzzing" sensations in my "inner" right ear as well (amongst other places)...so, HAS to be nerves! I now have crazy tinnitus & strange sounds in my ears to add to the mix. Add it all up & it spells NERVES to me. My 1st Neuro agreed. However, that's NOT to say that a bad sinus infection or allergies can't be causing a "single episode" either. Maybe visit a Doctor or ENT? Sorry you're having this...it drives me crazy! {[hugs}}
