HI Dave. Mine is working ok. I am actually at a hotel using their wifi. Have you tried clearing out your cache? (temp files etc (internet options). Technology is a great thing but it an be darn frustrating at times.

Yes I tried that I have a windows 7 system and even looked up how to do a scandisk and did that. It is just acting wierd or the probem is in explorer 9 but my chat worked for a while tonight than quit working, I was hoping they were working on my account. If I don't get it figured out I'll start a new account and see if it works right, can always get rid of it

Me too, I thought it was probably me, then this afternoon I recieved 4 hugs with one message, still ...cant complain...I mean ...4 hugs lol

I too ran into problems last night trying to log in, and this morning trying to send a hug. I believe last night DS closed the system down for maintenance, but haven't heard anything official yet. Just hang in there, they will get it right. I've never experienced the problems like I have last night so I too was wondering if it was me.

my status update won't stay and im having trouble going from group to group. The maintenance they did last night must have something to do with it.

I'm glad to see that its not comp because I'm having trouble this morning withthe site.

Meebo chat bar does not work with IE9. This is a meebo thing, .. not a DS thing. IE9 is not supported by MEEBO.

which was 'announced' 6 months ago. They still have not yet released it to work for IE9

Down for Maintenance is not new. It just does not trigger often.

The hug problem is a system problem DS is temporarily experiencing. People should only click submit ONCE even if it appears the hug (or whatever) does not 'go through'. 99% of the time, it does go through on the first submission .. it just doesn't look like it does.

As former computer perso and my husband an IBM computer geek (his terms, not mine) . I believe that it is the lack of resources at the DS level. I have not been able to journal in over 3 months. When I contacted the DS website people the instructions were things I had already done and of no help.

Will they ever fix their problems? I believe they need people with more experience tackling their problems. Just my opinion!

Not complaining, just pointing out prolems so the site can be maintained. No problems till today.

Where it says on the right hand side that one of my friends wrote a journal entry, I click on it and it won't open. Sooo, I then click on the left side where it has "My Friends" and the list won't open. Sorry, but that's a DS problem.
