Talked to my doc. He sent me to be evaluated for depression, possible anti-depf scrip. End result, went to the evaluation, doc & me decided to take a "wait and see" approach. Come back in 90 days or call if it gets bad.
Odd thing is, I feel better just having gone to discuss it, so perhaps that might be a good thing for you to do.
I definitely had depression with Avonex, and I don't know if it was because of the drug or the act of taking it....I would get more and more freaked out the sooner shot day came, and once it came...I'd sit there holding a needle and just bawling...totally freaking out because i was never able to get decent shot giving training...I'm a DESIGNER not a NURSE.
I definitely recommend dropping them and finding a new one...or at least asking them to write something that says to see the other...and when you can show them each that note then they will need to call each other.
Ask each of them..."So, what should I do if they tell me to call you? Just keep going back and forth?"
Good luck with this...it is not fun dealing with doctors and their tunnel vision.
But it has passed for me 3 months on the rebif at 100% 44mcg.
I hope this helped
