I have been dealing with the thoughts of giving up my morning coffee, because the heat from it raises my body temp, and we all know what that can do. Last night, or late afternoon, I made a pot of coffee because I needed a little pick me up, and ended up only drinking one cup. Not wanting to be wasteful and pour the rest of it out, I poured a cup of it this morning. Guess what? IT WAS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't hot, but it wasn't ice cold either, I have a thermal carafe with my coffee pot. If not for the thermal carafe, I probably wouldn't have tried it. So then this light bulb goes off in my head, if I would make my coffee at night, then it would be the perfect temperature for me in the morning.

I love everything about coffee, the smell, the taste, the "first cup of the morning" rush; and I was NOT looking forward to giving it up. This is just a simple idea, but it may work for some others too. If you don't have a thermal carafe with your coffee pot, an inexpensive thermos bottle should work just as well. Simply make your coffee at night, pour it in the thermos, and enjoy it the next morning.
