A shot everyday for how long.....

Wow, I have only been on copaxone for almost 30 days and am sick of it. Everyday atleast once a day I think to myself can I do this for who knows how long... the rest of my life? I know its better than the alternative but these lumps I am getting are sure irritating.
When I started it was fine, like a bee sting but now I am getting lumps almost everytime. I do manual injections and my sister helps me out for the hard to reach spots(to which I am grateful for) The other day she gave me my shot and when it was done I walked into another room and started crying. I don't know maybe I am just having a bad week. I have not even officially been diagnosed with MS so sometimes I think why am I doing this. I feel healthy. My MRI says different apparently.
I am just irritated with life right now I guess. Its just hard to think that there is no "date" of when my last shot will be, there's no end in sight.
I know I should be grateful for so many things, and I am but I'm in a funk right now.

Thanks for the Arnica Gel comment. Maybe it will get rid of some my lumpy bumpy areas that are already there (ugh) but I agree with Ezone's doc in that there is a wonderful new pill on the horizon (fingers crossed) and hopefully it is to be out first quarter 2012. Now let us hope the pricing is competitive and the insurers are on board!

Yeah i feel that way too , but not about the shots as my shots do not bother me too much ( i take rebif and it is three times a week) i do not have site reactions , but i feel bad just about the disease itself and not being able to do too much, kinda feel like " am i depressed or what?' or just get in a bad mood for no reason. i feel like crying sometimes but i dont maybe i should. sorry you are feeling bad :(

Everyones responses were helpful. Thank you. I do heat the site before hand and I will try to ice it afterwards and see if that helps. The first week I gave myself the shots I didn't have any reaction but it has gotten worst overtime.
I have been using a heater blanket everynight when I sleep and it irritates my injecion sites wich I wasn't expecting, I would wake up and my arms would itch like crazy from an injection site that was 5 days old.
This forum is helpful and I really count on it. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to respond!
