One thing that helps me is to not take it every day. I take it on my bad days, and that seems to allow it to work better on those days. So I plan a few days a week to not take it (like weekends) and then take it on the other days where I really need energy. Taking it every day seems to kill the affect for me.
Another thing is that I have 10 mg NON XR which is the same but in short acting. So if I'm dying out at 5pm and need to get through a few more hours, I split one of those in half and take it and that gives me enough pep to get through 4 hours or so (but be warned, those come with a severe crash at the end that you will NEED to go to bed when it kicks in).
It is becoming worse and worse. Prior I thought I was low on iron and would try that, but nothing seemed to work. Now that I know the cause, I just want something to get me through the day.
I can force myself to get things done until about 11:30 and then I am just drained. Being a single mom of an 8 and 6 yr. old does not help.
I go to bed so tired and then am awake after 3 - 4 hours and up agian every hour after that.
Good Luck and I will let everyone know what the doc says on Friday. Just keep pushing and pushing.
If you go to the MS society's web site, they use to have vcr/dvd's and flyer's with suggestions. There were even chair areobic ones. It's been a few years, but a friend & I borrowed one on water aerobics for MS patients.

I've also have read many people say that if they take it on a regular basis you build a tolerence and it don't work without uping the dose so I take the Provigil only as needed.
Have you had your blood work checked? Check D3 levels, B12 and iron.
I take 4000 ius of d3, and I give my self a b12 shot 1 a month . I also take iron. If I am too tired for cardio I do floor work. Stretching, weight bearing and pilates when I can!
Make sure you drink a lot of water also, Dehydration cause fatigue!
Hugs, Sandi
