IM NEW TO ALL OF THIS MS THING AND FINDING OUT WHY I FEEL THE WAY I DO PHYSICALLY BUT BOY DO I GET WHAT YOUR SAYING ABOUT DEPRESSION. I THINK MY BIGGEST THING WHY IM SO DEPRESSED/MAD IS BECAUSE I CANT DO THE THINGS I USED TO BE ABLE TO DO. IN FACT, I CANT DO MUCH OF ANYTHING AND IM REALLY SICK OF IT. IT REALLY MAKES ME MAD THEN I GO INTO DEPRESSION AND ALONG WITH ALL OF IT....I HURT ALL OVER ALL OF THE TIME. REALLY HATE THIS DISEASE, BUT IM STILL LEARNING ABOUT IT.

Thank you for posting this. Depression is a symptom of MS. It is also a side effect from some medicines. Please, if anyone going through this, let your doctor know. It does not show signs of weakness.

hard issue to deal with ...
most of my life the old "big kids dont cry" drum beats loud and
insistent in my head making me want to take care of it on my own..

Thank God i learned how damaging that view is and did not allow it
to be used on my children!!

once i finally embraced the valid reasons for feeling depressed
the search for medication has been difficult .. finally
FINALLY i now have Diazepam ...
can use it as needed and feel 0 side effects unlike the list of
other stuff tried.. i loath side effects
