I have a question...

So I'm sitting here feeling OK, and all of a sudden I started having pain in my jaw, lower teeth, gums and ears, this last about 30 minutes, then my whole body started aching from head to toe, with buring pain on the top of my legs, now I'm miserable and feel like I have the flu. My question is, does this happen in MS? Ive had all these symptoms before, but not all together out of the blue. Thanks for your help. (((hugs)))

I had something that sounds a bit like that . It started in my ears and went into my jaw and teeth. Then down my throat and into my chest. Then my hands which turned purple and hurt. I felt awful for several hours. Turned out it was an allergic reaction to an antibiotic I had taken many times with no problem. It was a powerful reminder that not everything is MS. It is so difficult to know. I understand your question. Good luck

It would be a good idea to call the doctor's office and ask about this. Some allergic reactions can be severe if this is the case. Also, one thing I normally remember to do when all of a sudden the walking is more difficult and my symptoms seem to have hit a new high is to check my temperature. Normally, it's just that my body is fighting something and creating havoc. If the temp is up, I take a natural remedy. Most recently, my symptoms were accompanied by a feeling of wooziness so I took some Oscillocuccinum and it really helps me quite a bit. I guess I could take ibuprofen or something but I'm worried about beating up my stomach too much.

Hope you get to the bottom of this. :)

Thanks Val and Lorrie, I haven't been diagnosed yet, so I was just curious. Yes lorrie, that is what I thought so I did check my temp and it was fine. (((hugs)))

Hi Bonnie. I've had several days where something similar has happened to me. Feeling ok then suddenly hit with a ton of bricks. I think it is just the nature of this dang disease. :(
