Hi everyone. It's been a few weeks since I've been on here, but things have been nuts. Those who know a little bit about me know my mom has had MS for a really long time. I hope this doesn't come off like I'm begging for sympathy but she passed away this past Tuesday and I just wanted to share with you all. I tried to attach the link to her obituary, but I'm completely computer illiterate so forgive me if it didn't work. You didn't know her, but the world has truely lost a beautiful person.

I am sorry for your loss. My dad passed away in April after 4 LONG YEARS of fighting cancer. Don't be like I was and keep your feelings in. By doing that I walked myself right into Optic Neuritis. It is a stressful time...let your feelings out.

Yes, sorry for your loss as well after such a long MS quest. Might I ask if her passing was in any way due to MS? I'be been dealing with RRMS for over 20yrs & sometimes can't help but wonder how my story will end.
As well, would like to hear her story.

Yes, it was due to the MS. She had been confined to her bed for the past couple of years and had some pretty serious nerve pain the last two or three weeks. She was on morphine. We are relieved for her, even though it's hard for us. I didn't want to say too much about the bad stuff, not because it's hard for me but because I want to be sensitive to others facing the same thing.
Seriously though, thanks to all of you for the hugs & messages & support.
