Hi everyone. It's been a few weeks since I've been on here, but things have been nuts. Those who know a little bit about me know my mom has had MS for a really long time. I hope this doesn't come off like I'm begging for sympathy but she passed away this past Tuesday and I just wanted to share with you all. I tried to attach the link to her obituary, but I'm completely computer illiterate so forgive me if it didn't work. You didn't know her, but the world has truely lost a beautiful person.

I'm sorry for your loss. I too lost my mom 4 years ago but from Ovarian Cancer. I have RRMS and know how hard it is. You should be proud of your mom, anyone facing this disease is a strong person.

Tara, thank you for sharing this, your mom sounded like a really wonderful person. I'll bet she was very proud of you.

We are glad you dropped by - sometimes I think it helps to connect with people who share something similar with somebody you loved.

The obituary said your mom suffered from MS for 40 years, that's such a long time. She must have had quite a journey with her disease. Are you up to sharing her story with us? I am curious how things went for her and her MS.

If it's too painful, that's okay, don't bother. In any event, I hope that you and your family find comfort and peace in all of your rememberances of her.

So sorry to hear your mum passed away. I lost my father 7 years ago to bowel cancer and miss him everyday.

I can feel your pain. Just know that she is still with you and will be watching over you always.

So sorry to hear or your loss. She certainly was a strong fighter to have fought MS for 40 years. Thanks for sharing her life story with us. She is an inspiration to us all. HUGZ!!!!!

First let me extend my deepest condolances to you and your family, after reading the obituary it definately looks like we have lost a true fighter an a big idol when it comes to fighting MS!

May she be a big inspiration to all of us even after she has now passed over...

Thanks everyone for all your support. She really was a wonderful person, although I might be slightly biased! Thanks for giving me a place to vent a little, not only about this, but about my own MS. You all have been great!

It is hard when we get to have such a wonderful warm soul in our lives to ever have to let them go. The only consolidation is knowing we had the privlage of knowing them in the first place.

All my heart goes out to you..it is a hard time. I hope you know there are people in this world that consider you a warm soul in their lives.
