MS Sux. But this is a great place to vent.
Hang in there.
cheers
I am a lot older than you but dont let age be a barrier when asking questions or discussions as there is a lot of people with a lot of experience (unfortunately) of almost every different symptom, but have a lot of knowledge, information to share.
Also a lot of caring & support here.
Have a Happy New Year & try not to stress too much too. It doesnot help ms at all.
All I'm saying is I'm 26 now, and have been really badly ill for 4 years. Not just a tickle here or there but full on SHIT that whole time. They say its RRMS but I don't ever feel any remitting...
Anyway, try weed, baclofen, or magnesium tabs for your legs--or shit all three. But don't get into treating it with regular painkillers because at our age its simply not a justifiable long-term solution. I get that pain too so believe me I know.
As to not driving, not doing things others do, being as disabled as our 60+ year old grandparents... YES. I feel all that. Just had to chime in to say we young ones are here--need advice or an ear just let me know! HUG
Hang in there!
I had 19 years after dx that were pretty normal. It was in 2004 I went downhill fast and ended up on perm SSDI. I look at it as God gave me a long time with MS where I was "normal-ish".
Boy do I miss those days.
Blessing to you!
